Jackbox Games announced on Thursday that they are hard at work on their next installment, and Jackbox Party Pack 8 will be arriving sometime in the fall of this year. The new Party Pack will be available on all of the platforms that their previous packs are on.

Like the packs before, pack 8 will contain five games. In the FAQ they posted, Jackbox Games said they will announce the first of the games sometime in May. The rest will follow over the coming months.
The Jackbox Party Pack series never fails to delight. Although social distancing has taken the series away from the couch, the phone-as-controller gameplay and variety of games lends itself well to online play with friends thanks to screen sharing and streaming.
While Quiplash, Drawful, and Fibbage are safe go-to games with any group, I’m hopeful that we’ll see some more games that surprise me with some standout creativity.
