Loki got a trailer yesterday showing off what everyone’s favorite Asgardian Asshole is up to after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
In the trailer, we see Tom Hiddleston’s Loki teaming up with a mustachioed Owen Wilson. Together they aim to protect and fix the flow of time, whatever that entails. I am sure no double-crossing or shenanigans will take place at all.
And before you ask, yes, there is a scene in the trailer where guys get punched in perfect rhythm to the music.
As a reminder, Loki died at the end of Thor but didn’t actually die. Then he died at the end of Thor: The Dark World but didn’t actually die. Then he died at the beginning of Avengers: Infinity War and stayed dead. But then the Avengers went back in time and gave a not-dead Loki the Tesseract on accident and he poofed off. Now you’re all caught up, you’re welcome.
Looking at everything MCU has coming up this year, Loki is pretty low on my list in terms of excitement. Loki feels like the character that Marvel was done with, but they continually bring him back because he was so beloved. Nevertheless, I’ll watch anything Marvel throws my way.
Loki will arrive on Disney+ on June 11th.
